UKRP & UKCA – Process

To provide you with a UKRP and UKCA Product Registration Service we require the following:

PEOPLE

  • Your full contact details.
  • Full name of the Legal manufacturer and contact details of their English-speaking representative. 
  • A web address if available. 

PRODUCTS

  • Completion of our Device and Product questionnaires. 
  • A valid Declaration of Conformity and its expiry date. 
  • An MDR transition exemption (if applicable) and its expiry date.

More about MHRA statutory registration fees

From 1st April 2026, the MHRA will be introducing an annual fee model for device registration for GMDN Level 2 Categories.
MHRA advise this is likely to be £300 per Level 2 Category.  
The actual fee payable at registration is advised by MHRA at registration. This is payable by the Legal Manufacturer.
Future annual fees are payable by the Legal Manufacturer to the UKRP for onward payment to MHRA.

Renewals and Amendments:

The first renewal date is 1 year after account creation.
Then at least every 2 years.
There is currently no fee for renewal.
